Is This THE Easiest Way to Make Money Fast?

I think it is, and I'm sure you'll agree once you've finished reading this article. But there is a big secret you need to know about in advance!

That secret is, there is no one easy way to make money fast, there are a great many, although most of those opportunities depend on what words like 'money' and 'fast' really mean to you.

If money means a basic living wage, enough to pay the bills, but with nothing left over to finance a new house or car, or pay for fancy holidays, then yes you really can make money fast, starting right now.

But if you're looking to make a fortune today, or tomorrow at the latest, then you're in for a big disappointment, because short of winning the lottery few people ever get to make money that fast.

And what does 'fast' mean to you? Is it today, next week, or would you be happy to have a decent wad of cash in the bank sometime next year?

Unsurprisingly, if you haven't guessed it already, this article is not about making a huge fortune in record quick time. It's about making a good living in the shortest possible time, but only by focussing on proven profit makers and always being prepared to tackle and test other, newer and maybe more reliable ways to make money.

'Fast', meaning in the shortest possible time, can be achieved by remaining focussed on whatever's making you the most money at any one time, and moving quickly to new pastures if your current income streams start to dwindle or even dry up completely.

And that pretty much reveals what I personally think is the best way to make money fast, and it's not actually a way at all, but rather a method of making sure you make as much money as possible in the shortest time possible.

That method goes like this:

- Develop a portfolio of money-making opportunities, both on and off the Internet, and test how much time each opportunity takes to generate a specific income level, after expenses. Make those presenting the highest profit margins in the shortest time your main tasks for the day, and keep on testing new ways to make money fast. So if, for example, you can write a few articles in two hours for someone prepared to pay you the equivalent of an average day's pay, you should probably look for other clients willing to pay similarly high rates for your articles. If you've found a product that fetches more than the average daily wage every time you sell two or three units on eBay, you should look for other markets to sell the same product until your profits are maximised for that one item. Then start looking for more writing clients, and more buyers for your eBay product, look for new sources of income to test for profitability.

- Do not ever restrict yourself to just one source of income, however profitable it might be. That's because if that one source of income dips, in part or total, you could be left with no income at all! So opt for a portfolio of business opportunities and continue testing new ones, always with the objective of concentrating on those that make the highest profits faster than others.

So say right now you're writing articles and selling a specific product on eBay, when suddenly your main writing client dies and eBay bans your product from selling at their site. What do you do now? If you've followed my thinking so far, the answer is to expand on other moneymaking options you've tested and were running alongside your writing and eBay ventures. Then focus on making money from those other options while looking for new ones to replace those you've just lost.

And that is it, the answer to how to get customers and keep them buying for many years to come. Easy wasn't it?

Make Money Fast Writing 'Mother and Sprog' Articles

We all know what mothers are, don't we, and most of us understand the term 'sprog' also, but just how can those terms in tandem generate a very easy way for you to make money fast?

Well first I need to explain how those terms apply to the task of writing and publishing articles likely to make money fast for you from promotions at your websites and blogs, from AdSense, for example, or ClickBank promotions.

For the purpose of writing articles, 'mother' relates to the website where you'll be making money, from those AdSense promotions, for example, and countless other ways to make money fast promoting your own and other people's products.

'Sprog' describes a mini-article, formed from the body of the mother article, and its purpose is to create a backlink for the mother site and help that site rise high in search engine returns. But there's another reason why a sprog article, rather lots of sprog articles, can help you make money fast and it relates to traffic generated to the mother site by its offspring.

View Avril's Published Books on Kindle HERE

Basically, this idea works where you create a one page website, or more pages if you like but one page will do. You write an article for that website and search engine optimise it with keywords likely to help the site rank high in search engine returns. That article should contain about 1,000 words and focus on ten different aspects of its subject matter. Then on its own the mother page can begin receiving traffic from search engines and help make money fast for its designer.

But there's another easy and very effective way to drive even more traffic to the mother page and help its owner make money. Fast traffic from a variety of sources is what turns a good money making website into an extraordinarily high money making website and it's all done using sprog articles.

You do it like this:

* Write your mother page, search engine optimise it, leave it for search engines to notice and begin driving traffic.

* Now begin writing smaller articles, 400 words will do, based on specific points from the mother page. So you take point number one at the website and rewrite it from scratch. Then add more text relating to the point at hand until your sprog article is at least 400 words long. Finish with a resource box for your smaller article that invites readers on other people's websites to visit the mother website to learn more about the subject of the article. Make your resource box interesting and cryptic and you can easily generate hundreds of visitors for an article that takes less than fifteen minutes to write.

* Write small articles for each topic covered on the mother page, and then go write many more articles about each and every point, all ending with an invitation to visit the longer article at the website designed to make money fast for you.

* Upload your smaller articles to article directories like EzineArticles from where you'll direct traffic to your mother site as well as growing useful backlinks to help the site grow even higher in search engine returns.

How to Get Customers Almost Cost Free

View Avril's Published Books on Kindle HERE

Starting a business is a very exciting time and can be the beginning of a long and profitable venture, as long as you know in advance how to get customers. That seems like an obvious statement, and it is, but the reality is a great many people really do open their doors for business before previously considering how to get customers.

Then when their venture falters and they're running out of money they suddenly realise their mistake and for most people that still leaves enough time to regain lost ground right away and almost cost free by using simple techniques to kickstart their sales.

This is how to get customers to your new or long established business:

* Word of mouth. This simply means having past customers and enquirers recommend you to friends and relatives, or neighbours and workmates and it's one of the most effective ways of promoting your business. You can start the ball rolling by having business cards printed and handing them out to anyone likely to recommend your business to other potential new customers.

* Put business cards and postcards in shop and post office windows. A colleague writing about how to get customers tells readers this is not only a very effective way to promote a business but it's also one of the least inexpensive also, usually just a few pennies and sometimes free of charge.

* Place ads. in local newspapers and freesheets and always ask for a discount by telephoning sales representatives at the publications concerned.

* Having thought long and hard about how to get customers to his taxi business an acquaintance had leaflets distributed door to door in the local catchment area and paid newsagents to insert them in local newspapers and freesheets. He says the better quality the leaflet, the more business he got. So he advises other people never to skimp on quality because low cost printing is sometimes very difficult to read and gives a very poor impression of your business.

* Email or write to local newspapers and freesheets and tell them about your business. Make a special offer to their readers by asking them to cut out a discount coupon from the publication and bring it when they visit.

Free advertising really is easy once you know how. To get customers you must avoid using tired and boring marketing methods and think beyond the obvious and make your business different and interesting and well worth investigating by new potential buyers.

Six Reasons to Start a Forex Trading Business From Home

View Avril's Published Books on Kindle HERE
Forex trading is a business virtually anyone can operate from home, without special prior knowledge or experience, and without investing heavily in time or capital. But as for all business opportunities, newcomers must spend time learning the basics of trading foreign currencies before investing their own hard earned cash.

* The very best way to make maximum profits with minimum risk is to learn to buy and sell foreign currencies for profit using a free trial account available from hundreds of online forex trading platforms worldwide.

Once a newcomer understands the various moves involved in trading foreign currencies, and learns how to spot trends and pick out potentially profitable trading opportunities, that's the time to invest real money in expectation of making serious profits entirely from home.

The chance to work from home is what many people consider the major benefit of making a living from the foreign exchange markets.

Here are five more reasons why anyone seeking a home based business opportunity really should consider forex trading:

* Trading the foreign currencies market sounds complicated but actually it isn't. In fact, anyone with patience and skilled at analysing trends can make a good living trading on the foreign exchange markets.

* Forex traders have full control over how much they invest, unlike day trading, for example, where share prices are market driven and often exceed the budget of many small investors.

* The forex trader can work any hour of any day, and is not restricted by opening and closing times of major worldwide stock markets, or the fact that most stock exchanges are closed for the weekend and the majority of national holidays.

* Anyone can participate in this business and operate on an equal footing with major investors. Unlike trading in stocks and shares, for example, forex trading can be operated with minimum start up capital and no one investor can control prices or influence the market.

* Forex traders can profit from changes in world currency markets immediately they happen, compared to responding to fluctuations in the value of shares which can mean waiting for stock exchanges to open after an overnight or weekend break.

Those six benefits of starting a business trading on the foreign exchange markets from home take no account of other benefits enjoyed by all home based business owners, such as the chance to be self-employed and avoid having to work to another person's rules and conditions.

If all of this sounds good to you, you might consider adding forex trading to your business portfolio. Then test the water with imitation money using a free trial account before investing your own hard earned cash into predicting and profiting from trends in worldwide currency markets.

Backlinking And How It Can Force An Avalanche of Traffic Your Way

View Avril's Published Books on Kindle HERE

You want more traffic to your websites, right? And you know one way to do just that is by having quality backlinks from all over the Internet leading back to your own websites and blogs. You've heard that having hundreds and preferably thousands of quality backlinks helps your sites rank high in search engine returns and bring more highly targeted quality traffic your way.

'Quality' is the operative word because not all backlinks win approval from search engines, in fact some could get your site banned from search engine listings.

Briefly, the highest quality backlinks are genuine (not obtained through link farming, keyword spamming, some paid for links, most link exchange programs). They are usually based on keywords used in content at the site providing the link as opposed to a simple website address, and the donor site itself must be respected by Google and other search engines.

That means backlinks differ in benefits to you; some are worth working hard to achieve, some are worthless and potentially detrimental to your business.

And that is why this article is about generating as many quality links to our websites - preferably using descriptive keywords - on as many high PageRank websites as possible.

ABOUT LINKS

'Link' is what the term implies in all walks of life, namely a relationship between one concept and another - tangible and intangible - such as a person, an idea, a news report, or in our case a website. So we talk of someone having 'links to organised crime' inferring that person is in some way associated with organised crime. We hear about one pop star being 'linked' to another pop star and insinuating some family or romantic connection between them.

'Link' for the purpose of Internet marketing, typically relates to an element on one site, maybe a banner or short news report, which when clicked on leads direct to the website mentioned in the link. Note that to direct visitors this way the link must be 'active', that is hyperlinked to the destination website. An inactive link - usually plain text without hyperlink - is not always worth working hard to achieve, with some exceptions as the next paragraph reveals.

Important: An inactive link - a so-called 'dead' link - might still attract traffic from people willing to key the url directly into their browser, which few people are willing to do, but it is unlikely to affect search engine placement. Hence the reason an active link will generate more clicks than a dead link, and is also more likely to help your site rank high in search engine returns.

ONE AND TWO WAY BACKLINKS

The process of 'back linking' - so called because those sites 'link back' to our own - can be a one or two way process.

The one way process involves placing links on high PageRank websites without you necessarily having to reciprocate the gesture. So you might, for example, place articles on high ranking article directories with links leading back to your own websites, but without having to mention the article directory on your own sites.

Conversely, two way or reciprocal linking involves having links placed on high PageRank sites leading back to your own sites on condition you also provide active links back to those sites.

Reciprocal Backlinking and How It Helps Your Sites Rank High In Search Engine Returns

View Avril's Published Books on Kindle HERE

Reciprocal backlinking is a process whereby you place a link to another person's promotions on your website, and they reciprocate by placing a link on their websites leading back to your own. The process can be hugely effective and well worth working hard to have reciprocal links for your site on a wide range of other people's websites and blogs. But there are problems to contemplate, all easy to circumvent, and backlinking this way really will help you make money fast from your promotions. So although it takes a little longer than other marketing techniques such as writing articles and placing posts on other people's blogs and forums, you really should try your hand at reciprocal linking. Let me tell you how it works.

Anyone with their own website will have received emails from other webmasters offering to add your link to their website, if you link to theirs. Most of these offers are well worth considering, mainly because people have usually taken time and effort to compile a list of websites, as well as website owners likely to consider their offer.

But I'm told only about five per cent of requests actually get accepted and of those not all links take place or have their desired effect. That said, if you have time on your hands this could be a useful way to generate backlinks. Start by looking for websites on a similar subject to your own and from which backlinking is likely to be more effective than from dissimilar sites. Make a note of the website owner or main contact; you'll usually find the details somewhere on the page.

You can find sites similar to your own by keying words to describe your website content into the search box at Google.com and studying listings on the first five or six pages.

Compile a list of one hundred or more contacts. Then write a short email saying how you'd like to have a link for your site (an active link with keyword rich text) placed on their site, and you will reciprocate the gesture.

Ask the other person to send their chosen text and url to you and say you will upload the link within a specific time, and then you will send your link and text for them to upload. But be sure to check the other person actually does upload your link, and correctly, and be quick to contact them if things don't go according to plan.

Forex Trading and How to Avoid the Scam

View Avril's Published Books on Kindle HERE

Wherever there's a chance to make large sums of money there will be scams designed to rob people of their hard earned cash, and Forex trading is no exception. Experienced investors recognise most scams and avoid them, unlike newcomers to Forex trading who more easily fall victim to scamsters. Governments and consumer watchdogs worldwide warn people to be wary of scams promising massive profits from tiny investments, and offer the following tips to help keep this particular areas of the investment business safe for all:

* Be suspicious of high profit, low risk offers. The reality is that all investments involve risk, some more than others, and the individual must take great care to safeguard his money. Do that by checking all offers relating to Forex trading, and do not part with cash or sign any agreements until you know you're working with a reliable bona fide company. One way to check for scams is to key the name of the company making an offer into Google's search box and look for good as well as adverse comments. A lot of good comments does not mean the company is genuine and reliable, any more than a lot of adverse comments mean you should avoid the company concerned. That's because the company itself may be paying bloggers to post complimentary comments about them, while rival companies are paying other people to post derogatory comments about the company under review. Try to ignore derogatory comments in forums and blogs, often placed by people with an axe to grind or being paid to discredit the company concerned. The exception is comments having back up from government and reliable media sources. If you see a particular company has been sued for malpractice, and lost, give them a wide berth. If nothing bad has been said about the company, dig deeper, and study several search engines for good and bad comments to help influence your investment decisions.

* Avoid sending money over the Internet. Scams are prolific online where fraudsters can create wonderfully professional websites with credit card facilities and quickly scam hundreds or thousands of people before the authorities wise up and close down the site. Where possible visit the Forex trading company in person or at least telephone them. Check out the company's street address, if there is one at the site, and make sure the company has a physical offline presence compared to an accommodation address. If there is no address at the site, or if the telephone is constantly engaged or out of order, that's a good indication of a Forex trading scam.

* Do not ever trade with companies who approach you with unsolicited email or high pressure telephone sales talk. Genuine and reliable Forex trading companies wait for you to approach them first, from advertisements on and off the Internet, or by invitation at their website for you to learn more about the company and how it can benefit you.

Most important of all, remember the best Forex trading companies are in business for the long haul, they want you as a customer for months and years to come. So they don't make promises of short term gains for short term effort. Instead they'll talk about the Forex trading market next year, and the year after that, and they'll tell you Forex trading is about taking calculated risks and never comes risk free.

How Passive Income Makes Money Faster Than Payment Upfront

View Avril's Published Books on Kindle HERE

How can you make money online, and are some ways of making money online faster than others? As all established online marketers know, there are many very different ways to make money online, some easier and open to marketers of all skills and experience; some reserved for longer-established marketers with specific talents and knowledge.

To illustrate, we know pretty much anyone can make money on eBay, for example, also on Amazon, and virtually everyone can be paid to write blog postings and short articles for online writing sites. That's unless you're selling goods requiring special knowledge, however, such as antiques and collectibles; or you're writing to a specific and very complicated client agenda, where in both cases only the special few are likely to succeed.

And because choice of employment varies between individuals, the question of how and where to make money online is an entirely personal matter, and the answer will be very different for you as for me.

However, there's one question that applies to everyone wanting to make money online, especially for writers and artists, photographers and cartoonists. That question is: 'Is it best to seek passive income from my creative skills, or should I sell my work outright to the highest bidder?'

Let us see how those concepts compare and how they apply to both budding and experienced writers, based on creating content for their own and other people's websites.

Imagine the writer has his own website, where he uploads articles and earns a commission every time someone clicks on an AdSense unit at his site. Once the article is uploaded and visitors begin to call, just one article can generate commissions from Google for many years to come. So if the writer earns just 35 cents a click on an AdSense unit and receives three clicks a day, that's more than $7 a week he'll be earning from one article, and more than three hundred dollars over the year. That money can continue coming in year after year, even if the writer does no further work on his article, hence the reason future earnings accrued after a job is completed are referred to as 'passive income'.

Now take another writer, someone who sells his work outright on freelance writing websites, where competition is rife and writers are constantly undercutting one another on price. Our writer might create an article similar to the other writer who makes money from AdSense, but in this case the article has a one time price attached to it and once sold it generates no further income for its creator. The main benefit for this writer is that he gets paid before or just after the client accepts the article; the problem is he forfeits future earnings from his work. One time income like this is called 'upfront payment', and typically the writer will earn one hundred dollars maximum for his work, placing him way below the AdSense writer's annual income.

And that is why, for most people wanting to make money online, and writers in particular, one of the most important pre-task questions is this: 'Do I want to be rewarded for my work today, or should I hold out for more money later?' Almost always, the second option proves most profitable.

How to Make Money Fast As a Micro-Blogger

View Avril's Published Books on Kindle HERE

A micro-blog is a blog that typically focuses on a specific niche within an overall larger subject area. So, for example, a conventional blog might focus on cats in general, while its smaller counterpart relates specifically to Ragdoll cats, or in even narrower terms the micro-blog might center on the history of Ragdoll cats.

Bloggers focussing on tight niche subjects can make money much faster from their work than their counterparts creating blogs covering a subject in depth. That is because:

* A profitable niche blog can comprise just ten or twenty pages, sometimes just one or two pages, and can be created in hours or days, compared to blogs covering a subject in depth which can take years to create, and perhaps never be complete. So a micro-blog can very quickly provide all the relevant information visitors may be seeking, while a comprehensive blog - sometimes called an 'authority' blog - on a subject that evolves over time, will always be one step behind developing news stories.

* Because they're quick to create, a niche blog can begin making money right away, even from just two or three pages uploaded to the site, while an authority blog comprising just a few pages will look incomplete and unprofessional and may deter visitors from buying.

* The blogger can create multiple smaller blogs in much less time than it takes to create one authority blog. This means the blogger does not risk spending all of his time creating one blog that goes out of fashion or faces heavy competition, or simply doesn't make money. By creating a range of micro-blogs, the blogger is spreading his risk across a variety of subjects, allowing him to focus his time and effort, also money, on blogs proving the most popular and most profitable at any point in time.

These are the most important steps in developing a niche blog that begins making money right away:

Step One

Choose a subject you'll enjoy researching and blogging about. Working with subjects you enjoy allows your enthusiasm to rub off on visitors to your blog and encourages them to pay regular visits.

Step Two

Once you have your main subject area, hone in on a specific niche, such as the history of Ragdoll cats, mentioned earlier, compared to blogging about cats in general. If your main subject is ballet, your sub-niche could be ballet shoes, for instance, or ballet lessons. Should your main interest be country music, your niche blog might focus on a specific era of country music, or a particular artist.

Step Three

Choose a domain name for your blog that features words commonly keyed into search engines to locate the kind of goods and services you might soon be promoting at your blog. So a blog about ballet shoes, for example, may feature a specific design of ballet shoes in its domain name. Having your niche subject appear in your blog's url helps search engines identify your blog as a potential source of quality information for people currently using similar keywords in search queries. As a result, your blog can quickly rank high or even hit the coveted number one spot in major search engine returns.

Step Four

Find products to promote at your micro-blog, either by creating those items yourself or by having someone create goods for you. Alternatively, choose from thousands of affiliate products available by keying something like 'affiliate + your product type' into any major search engine.

Step Five

Now you begin researching content for your blog and creating and uploading posts providing as much information as possible about your niche subject. Once done, you spend the remainder of your working day on Step Six, the most important aspect of micro-blogging.

Step Six

Drive traffic to your micro-blog. One of the best ways to attract visitors is by writing articles about your niche subject and placing them on article directories with links leading back to your micro-blog. Alternatively, write short posts in forums and blogs focusing on subjects similar to your own chosen niche.

How to Write Tips Booklets - Easy to Write and Very Profitable for Writers and Affiliate Marketers

View Avril's Published Books on Kindle HERE

One of the easiest and potentially most profitable information products to create is one containing short tips or snippets of information about a specific subject.

Such items take just a short time to create and require no special writing skills and, unlike longer information products, such as articles and books, they can be created in whatever time the writer has available, even minutes every few days will suffice.  So, compared to writing an article of 2,000 words, for example, which most writers prefer to finish at one sitting to avoid losing focus on their subject, a tips booklet can be created bit by bit, tip by tip, in whatever time the writer can spare.

Also unlike longer written types, there’s no requirement for writing to flow, or for one paragraph to lead neatly into another, there’s no need to worry about overuse of specific words such as might count as keyword spamming for information products published online.

That’s because each tip is a separate entity, self-contained and focusing on one main key word or phrase, so there’s no need for tips to lead naturally from one to the next, as is essential for paragraphs in an article or short story, for instance, and there’s no need to replace heavily duplicated words that make an article look stilted but which are entirely acceptable in a run of separate short paragraphs.

Another great benefit of creating reports based on snippets and tips is the chance to add numerous affiliate links throughout the report, where each might be perceived as essential to a specific tip, but might look out of place dotted freely through a longer article or book.

Tips booklets also make excellent supplements to products available from other sources such as resell rights and plr items, or as bonus gifts to induce sales of affiliate products or the tips writer’s own products.

The secret to using tips articles to boost sales is to make the bonus item worth at least as much as the main product and to forward the gift only when a sale has gone through.

Here are some ideas for tips books, where ‘x’ is a specific number, 10, 20, 101, and so on.  Try writing one or two of these and using them as bonus gifts to encourage sales of your own products or affiliate recommendations.

Give Me $60, £60, 60 Units of Any Country Currency and I’ll Make You a Millionaire in Return!

View Avril's Published Books on Kindle HERE

Imagine this scenario: source just one new product every day and be an Internet millionaire this time next year!

No chance, or so I thought!

But actually I’ve just read a book that really does show how easy it is to find that one product each day and reach millionaire status twelve months from now – oh, let’s be honest, this wasn’t someone else’s book, this is something I’ve almost completed writing myself and I’ve been compiling it for almost ten years!

I wrote it because I’m a lifelong devotee of numbers games, especially in business and I know that playing numbers games is the way to generate a fabulous income from eBay and elsewhere, on and off the Internet.

So in personal terms I know if I buy an album of 100 postcards for one hundred pounds, I only have to sell twenty of those cards at a fiver apiece to recoup my investment and from there it’s profit all the way.  I know if I spend two or three hours finding ten or twenty misspelled listings on eBay which are generating zero bids, all I have to do is research the resell value of those products on eBay, then buy them at least a tenner each below their resale value.  Then I relist those previously misspelled items on eBay for a tenner pure profit apiece, netting me two hundred pounds or more for what amounts to less than a day’s easy work.

But wait, where’s that one product a day concept that promises to make you a millionaire this time next year?

Well while looking at this numbers game a little more closely than usual today, it struck me that all I had to do was find one new product every day which would sell just once each week and make sixty pounds pure profit every time.  You can if you like split that into one product that sells twice each week at thirty pounds profit each time, one product that sells three times each week at twenty pounds profit, and so on.

Over the year that sixty pounds each week (£60 by 50 weeks, on the assumption you take a break sometimes) puts £3,000 into your bank account.  Now imagine you find a new product every day for 350 days, it sells once each week, it nets £3,000 a year profit, and already we’re up to £1,050,000 annual turnover!

Can it be done?

Yes definitely!

But there are problems – of sorts – to contend with, such as the more items you sell, the more time and effort goes into delivering those products to buyers, and the more room you’ll need to stock those products – unless you focus on instant download digital items, for instance, or products delivered by dropshippers.

Bear in mind you can only sell downloadable items through Classified Ads. on eBay’s .com site, so the answer to making your fortune this way is to find a suitably profitable product each day, from ClickBank or PayDotCom or by creating your own eBook or software programme, and aim to sell at least one copy of each title every week through eBay Classified Ads.  Alternatively, work outside eBay, selling your own or other people’s downloadable products through article marketing, press release, and other easy low cost marketing options.

Or you could work with dropshipping companies for products you identify as selling successfully for other eBay sellers and matching your required sales and profit levels.

Bear in mind that some products will sell in multiple quantities each week, sometimes each day, and that means you could exceed million pound annual turnover in shorter time with less work.  Even better, some products fetch hundreds of pounds pure profit per sale and can sell in multiple quantities each week.

Oh my head is spinning with product ideas right now, I’m thinking of designer clothing, for example, also cars and yachts, and so many other items alongside which you’ll find by studying eBay listings by choosing ‘Price: Highest First’ from the dropdown menu to the right of the page.

So you see, the options for making a quick profit on or outside of eBay are easy and waiting for you right now.

Why £2 a Week is A Massive Fortune to Me! And It Should Be a Great Deal of Money to You Also!

Many people think I make a fortune online, but actually I don’t.  In fact I make about £100 a day, and I’m glad of it.  Glad of it because:

*  That one hundred pounds is free of overheads and, apart from the taxman wanting his share, it’s all mine!

*  I never meet customers face to face, sometimes people don’t even know it’s me who’s getting their money, and that suits me fine as well.

*  This £100 is the very least I earn each day, I sometimes more, and I’m guaranteed to make that one hundred pounds from all the many tasks I have to choose from each day.

Another reason I always make £100 and sometimes a great deal more every working day is that I think and work in two pound units.  I rarely think in margins of ten or twenty pounds profit per sale …. two pounds is all I want!

BUT THE BIGGEST SECRET IS THIS ….. over time that £2 a week becomes £100 a year, and more in coming years.

Can you see a really great money-making idea unfolding here, can you see how I really can turn one day’s work, or more likely a few minutes’ work or an hour at most, into a regular source of income for many years to come?

Yes, of course you can see how it works, and if you join me you’ll also make a good living every day, without risk and with few or no disappointments.

Best of all you can keep the day job if you really want to and consider the £2-a-week money-makers you’ll read about now as icing on the cake!

Read on to see how it’s done where the following represent just a few of about one hundred tasks I have identified and from which I pick my own task for the day.  I don’t mind you copying anything I do; in fact I’ll be delighted.

*  Look for a product that will sell once a week, better still once a day, and preferably seven or eight or more times every twenty-four hours on eBay.  That product has to make at least two pound pure profit after all overheads.

Work it out: if a product takes me a few minutes - or even half a day - to locate and makes just £2 a week, that’s one hundred pounds profit over the year, and few if I’ve chosen my original product carefully there should be no rival sellers on eBay or other marketplace.

What sort of items are we looking at here?  How about:

-  Pound Shop finds that fetch a fiver each on eBay.

-  Pound shop or other low cost items you can bundle into threes or fours, fives at most, then charge ten pounds a pack on Amazon, eBay, Etsy, and other marketplaces.

-  A CD filled with eBooks and reports that cost you ten pounds with resell rights and which you have rebundled and given an attractive new name.  If you’re selling on eBay you do an advanced search for eBayers selling resell right items on CD, you determine how many items they sold each week at a tenner or more pure profit per sale!  Then you create a superior product, write a better sales letter, make your eBay image way more appealing than any you’ve seen so far.  You’re also charging much less than those other sellers, and that means your product should sell in much higher quantities.

And now you have a mountain of good ideas for making money from low cost original products, it’s time to put on your thinking cap and turn 2014 into a massive profit year for you.

Eight Easy Ways to Make Money From the Public Domain

View Avril's Published Books on Kindle HERE

I love the public domain and I can think of no better way to spend a working day than looking for just one public domain item - there are millions to choose from - and turning that one item into a regular source of income for life.

In case you don’t know, the public domain describes creative works that are no longer protected by copyright, or which may never have been subject to copyright.  Without copyright those items can be copied by anyone and sold for profit.

Just think about it, from millions of creative works available in the public domain, don't you think you could find just one each day, or one every week if you have a regular job, and then upload that product to ClickBank or eBay, Amazon or hundreds of other online marketplaces, and leave the money to roll in right from day one?

Get it right and even if your new product sells just one unit each week, at £20 perhaps, then that's £1,000 you'll be making every year from the sale of that one product.  More likely however you'll be selling more than just one unit each week, so I'll leave you to work out the profits yourself.

With one product selling on eBay, it’s time to look for other items to steal from the public domain and you quickly turn each one into a regular source of income for life.

Here are some ideas to help you use the public domain to make regular high profits on eBay:

#1 - Superimpose a customer’s choice of face onto a vintage magazine cover.  Basically, this idea involves taking niche subject vintage magazines from the public domain, such as golfing and dog publications, ballroom dancing and cooking.

You choose covers with close up portraits of winning golfers or champion dogs, award winning dancers and chefs, and so on.  Then you very carefully blot out the original subject’s face and add someone else’s face where the old one used to be.

Then you print your cover onto quality paper, add a frame or mount, then you list it on eBay or elsewhere on and off the Internet with an invitation for people to order a similar product by submitting their own jpeg images or original photographs, and indicating their choice of magazine covers.

#2 - Recreate big cartoons.  Instead of vintage magazines, as in the last idea, this time you take full page or double page cartoons from very early satirical magazines like ‘Punch’ and you superimpose another image in place of the earlier one.  So you might take a cartoon for a military figure, such as Earl Haig, to which you add another person’s image, and again upload and offer your customised versions on eBay.

#3 - Pack songs and games, films and books onto one CD and use it as a bonus gift to accompany sales of other goods.  So if you sell children’s toys you might offer a CD of nursery songs and games to fend off competition from people selling similar toys on eBay.  If you’re selling dog kennels and other doggy stuff you offer a CD containing Victorian dog books.  If you’re promoting televisions or television stands your CD might contain out of copyright Hollywood films, and so on.  The trick on this occasion is not to sell your CD but to offer it as a cost-free  bonus designed to steal business from rival eBay sellers.

#4 - Compile a big bundle of children’s colouring books and illustrations from Victorian times, scan them into one large pdf file, then sell copies as standalone products while also emphasising the fact that nothing similar is available on the high street!

#5 - Unusual and very old recipes are hugely popular in eBook format as well as on CD, and you can pick up hundreds of recipes from public domain libraries such as Gutenberg (www.gutenberg.org).  Then you compile your recipes into eBook format and sell them on ClickBank in downloadable format or on CD on eBay or other online market place.

#6 - Reprint early newspapers, especially historic and special headline publications.  Headline newspapers commemorate specific anniversaries, such as 100 years since a fire at the warehouse in some specific location or since the Titanic tragedy and countless other memorable events.  Anniversaries of births and deaths of famous people are also popular.  You’ll find original newspapers available for low prices at auctions and flea markets, purely because most traders buy to sell them intact soon afterwards and don’t realise the enormous potential of creating saleable products from public domain texts.

#7 - Reprint ephemera and other paper collectibles.  Ephemera describes items with a short shelf life, usually made from paper, and including the likes of newspapers and theatre programmes, tickets and invitations, and various other items which were usually used and discarded immediately afterwards.  Original items sell well to collectors on eBay but there is another type of collector who doesn’t mind if the items are old or new, recent or vintage.  That person simply wants information about specific subjects or places and might pay handsomely for reproduction copies of early paper items relating to his special interest.

#8 - Reprint vintage craftwork patterns.  Many crochet, sewing and knitting enthusiasts today are keen to buy very old patterns of the type no longer available in craftwork supply shops.  But images used on those very early patterns were usually hand drawn and are unlikely to look good alongside your listings for patterns on eBay.  An attractive picture is vital to your chances of selling reprints of early knitting, sewing and crochet patterns on eBay, and that picture from the original pattern is not going to fit the bill.  So you need to have the product properly created, in physical format, and then photograph your product to use as the illustration for whatever knitting, sewing and crochet patterns you are selling on eBay.

Now you know there’s money to be made from the public domain you need to know is how to determine if an original item is in the public domain or if it’s protected by copyright and could find you drowning in deep legal hot water for making and selling copies.

Sadly, copyright law can be complex and you really do need to be sure you can copy an item, and sell it, without breaking any rules.

So I recommend you do as I always do, and use the longest copyright term as your guide to determining whether you can copy and sell another person’s work on eBay UK, and elsewhere.

In the UK, most items fall into the public domain after seventy full years (January to December) after the year in which the creator or last surviving creator of a creative piece died.  That means, for example, if a sole creator died on 2nd January, then you’d have to wait until the following January 1st to begin calculating your seventy year period.  If someone dies on New Years’ Eve, then the seventy year period begins the following day.

Rules vary according to where an original item was created and in which country copies are being sold, so you can either study copyright law in depth, or use the seventy year rule to apply to items originally created in the UK and which are available from you solely on eBay UK.

That should keep you problem free and continuously uploading new public domain based products to eBay.

Beekeeping: A Buzzing Good Business

View Avril's Published Books on Kindle HERE

Here’s a practical business opportunity for you: one that’s not exactly burdened with competition on eBay.

It’s all about selling to people who keep bees, and other regular buyers whose main interest in life is growing foodstuffs and undertaking other rural pursuits, in today’s case keeping bees and selling honey and other bee bi-products.

Beekeeping, also known as ‘bee keeping’ and ‘apiculture’, represents a fun hobby for some people, and a rich source of reliable, repeat profit for others.

Those profits await individuals who interact daily with their bees, making and harvesting honey and other bee products, for example, as well as firms supplying goods and services to help apiculturists keep their bees healthy and honey yield high.

Beekeeping is a tight niche market with massive potential for sellers on eBay and Amazon, or trading elsewhere on and off the Internet, and with easy access to other money-making opportunities.   So someone selling hives and other beekeeping supplies on eBay, for example, and from other websites, can very easily add a new string to his business, catering for people growing tomatoes, for instance, or keeping chickens and selling eggs, harvesting mushrooms, growing orchids and other exotic plants, and more besides.

I’ve chosen beekeeping for this article because it’s one of the fastest growing hobbies and small business ventures in Britain today, for several reasons:

*   Honey is one of the most nutritious foods available, being packed with health benefiting vitamins and renowned for curing a variety of common ailments.  Non-stop concerns about what goes into food is making society more health conscious and that is why some people turn to keeping bees and processing their own honey.  Then they’ll keep that honey for themselves or sell it through shops and other outlets.

*  Honey is always fresh, experts say it never goes stale, and because the beekeeper witnesses honey manufacturer from start to finish, there’s no chance of dangerous or unsavoury additives contaminating the product.

Consider recent cases of horse meat being found in products advertised as containing pure beef, and pork in foods promoted as meat free, and you’ll see why more people are turning to manufacturing their own food and overseeing every stage of the process.

*  Honey is just one natural food currently enjoying renewed interest among smallholders and families with large gardens.  Eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms and vegetables are also extensively manufactured by families and allotment holders purely to ensure only the freshest, most natural ingredients enter the family’s diet.  Most importantly, all offer numerous money-making opportunities for our readers on eBay.

*  Beekeeping is enjoyable, interesting and challenging, and that’s all some beekeepers want from their hobby.  Good food and extra cash is just icing on the cake.

* ‘Home made’ honey is usually cheaper than the shop bought variety and useful for stretching the family budget, especially in recessionary times.  Given the government has declared several years of austerity to come, that’s surely a sign that supplying beekeepers is a business with a prosperous future.

Most of those benefits apply to other domestic food growing activities, which in turn means anyone providing goods and services to beekeepers might additionally serve people growing tomatoes and mushrooms and dozens of other natural foods.

Selling to beekeepers has several major benefits for eBay sellers:

*  The business has long term potential as the world struggles out of recession.    Anything that saves money and benefits families’ dietary health and well-being has a good chance of surviving economic downturn.

*  Extensive cross marketing possibilities.  So many private and business buyers for beekeeping supplies and various other rural pursuits mentioned earlier, allow sellers to have just one Shop catering for numerous different interests, or several Shops each focussing on one specific type of end user.  Whatever the choice, sellers can cross market their products in numerous different ways, by displaying only beekeeping products inside listings for beekeeping products, for example, or by including links to other Shops selling different products.

*  A good many products require regular replenishment, such as bee foods and cleaning products for the hive, jars for storing honey, and others mentioned later.  And that means once you have a buyer that person might continue buying from you indefinitely on eBay.

*  Sellers can build a business as big and as specialised as they want it to be.  So a person could begin marketing for one rural pursuit, such as beekeeping and quickly become a major seller on eBay.  Then he or she can add new markets, collectively or one at a time, and develop knowledge and expertise over several different ventures.

So a person might start out selling beekeeping supplies, then a few months later begin targeting mushroom growers, then further down the line supplying goods and services for people growing tomatoes, and orchids, herbs and spices, and so on and so on.

This portfolio approach helps sellers survive decline in demand in one or more separate ventures.  So if there’s a sudden health scare affecting tomatoes, for instance, and demand plummets, a seller can focus more extensively on other current products or enter new and promising markets.

Few people would call bees ‘pets’ but the Pets category is where most products for beekeepers get listed on eBay, under the sub-category of ‘Bee Keeping’.

The appropriate product category is ‘Pets > Bee Keeping’ and notice how eBay uses two words - bee keeping’, while most sites I studied today use just ‘beekeeping’.  But that does not mean you should use both words in your eBay titles to ensure your listing respond to searches using one or two words on eBay.  That’s because eBay recognises and returns most commonly used alternative key words and phrases, in this case ‘beekeeping’ and ‘bee keeping’.

Currently there are less than 2,000 listings for beekeeping products, so the market has lots of potential, especially as consumers become disillusioned with food and drink manufacturers and choose to make their own fresh foods.

These are the sub-categories you’ll find listed under ‘Pets > Beekeeping’, suggesting the kind of products you could be selling very soon:

Beehives
Honey Extraction
Instructional Material
Protective Equipment
Smokers
Not Specified.

‘Not Specified’ is where you’ll find most repeat sale items, such as                     bee food and winter supplements, boxes and labels for distributing honey, honey bee swarm lure, and more besides.   These are generally lower priced items but I’ve spotted several eBay sellers enjoying multiple sales daily of some of those products.

Don’t forget hives and such, they’re expensive items and can attract good profit margins, especially if you make hives yourself or have someone else make them for you on commission.

Last, but not least, I noticed a good trade in books teaching beekeeping principles, and books and CDs providing plans for building hives and bee houses.

There’s a massive market here that’s so far very much under-represented on eBay.  Go take a look on eBay right now, make notes about items other people are selling on a regular basis, then see what the following trade and wholesale suppliers have that might offer decent profit margins for you.
